New results on the effects of drought are now available in Nature Ecology & Evolution

Plant functional traits help shed light on ecosystems' ability to withstand drought events. The study, led by the University of California, analyzes data from 63 precipitation reduction experiments carried out in grasslands and shrublands within the International Drought Experiment. The University of Parma contributes to the network with its experimental alpine site located at Passo Gavia, at c. 2700 m a.s.l.
